We pick you up in the morning and take you the port of Puno where you board our boat for a 20 minutes ride on the Titicaca Lake to the floating islands of the Uros, made entirely of reeds. The community of the Uros has endured for hundreds of years, thanks to their continual renovation of the island floor with Totora reeds and their harmonious relationship with nature. After exploring the Uros Islands we get back on our boat for a 3 hours ride to the remote island Amantani. At Amantani we meet some the local families and enjoy a nice lunch with them. In the afternoon you will explore the island, visit the pre-Inca temple Pachatata and learn about the daily life and traditions of the Amantani community. You will spend the night at the home of one of the families.
